OAK RIDGE, Tenn.—ORAU has announced the promotion of Meghan Millwood to director of its compensation and benefits. In her new role, Millwood will develop and recommend compensation and benefit strategies, policies and plans, which include a wide range of benefit options for employees, retirees, and their dependents. Prior to her promotion, Millwood served as manager of human resources operations at ORAU.
“Throughout Meghan’s more than ten years here at ORAU, she has capably served in a variety of progressively responsible positions within the human resources office,” said Dan Standley, ORAU Vice President of Human Resources. “We are very pleased to now have her contributing in her new role as a director on the management team.”
Millwood has more than 13 years of experience in the field of human resources. Prior to joining ORAU, she worked as a human resources recruiter for the Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation. She received a B.A. in business at Campbell University and an M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee, where she graduated with top honors. Additionally, she holds a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification, and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
