The Extreme Trades Makeover: Future Welders program is a new competition that hopes to answer that question for three deserving Alabama public high school teachers who teach or who aspire to teach welding in their classrooms.

The competition will award three Alabama High School vocational/trade teachers with $30,000 in welding equipment or other upgrades to help their students become skilled in the high-demand welding trade. More than 100,000 tradespeople with the skills, training and commitment to excellence will be needed to help the U.S. Maritime Industrial Base transform its nuclear-powered submarine fleet and maintain its critical undersea advantage.

This is where Extreme Trades Makeover: Future Welders can help!
