Igor Kurchatov Medallion

Igor Kurchatov was considered the father of the nuclear program in the former Soviet Union. The back of the medallion (above right), includes a quotation in which Kurchatov expresses his desire to work with the scientists of the world in the peaceful development of atomic energy.
