  • Paul W. Tibbets (1915-2007). Pilot of the Enola Gay.
  • Thomas W. Ferebee (1918-2000). Bombardier of the Enola Gay.

The photograph was purchased sometime in the early 1990s from the Buckeye Aviation Book Company of Reynoldsburg, Ohio. This company sold a variety of items from what they called the "Enola Gay Enterprises and General Paul Tibbets Memorabilia Collection Sales Catalog," e.g., Enola Gay baseball caps, Enola Gay coffee mugs, license plates, plaques, autographed books, autographed photos, etc.
