IM-19/PD Pocket Dosimeter (ca. 1950s)

The IM-19/PD is a military direct reading pocket dosimeter that measures gamma ray and X-ray exposures in the 0-10 roentgen range. This particular example was manufactured by Kelly-Koett (Keleket) which I believe was the only manufacturer of this item. It is also identified as a Keleket model K-181. While it is referred to in the Directory of Radiac Equipment (page date April 1958), the 1966 and 1987 versions of the List of Military and Civil Defense Radiac Devices make no mention of it. The List of Radiacs in the Navy Program (1975) states that the IM-19, 19A and 19B are all obsolete.
