Uranium Strike Game (late 1950s)
Uranium Strike is one of 15 different games that came in Escoe Industries' "Fun for the Road" package. Other games included Town and Country Bingo, Rainbow Bingo, and Guided Missiles.
The package recommends that you keep it in the glove compartment for those long road trips with the kids. Unfortunately, even a DVD player can't keep the "When do we get there?" questions at bay forever.
"Uranium Strike" is pretty simple. In turn, each player joins two dots—in a horizontal or vertical row, but not a diagonal one. When a player completes a full square, they have staked a claim, and they get an extra turn. At the end, the winner is the player with the most staked claims.
