ORAU: Then & Now

A new beginning: Habitat for Humanity Dedication Ceremony held for local Oak Ridge family

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps people in your community and around the world build or improve a place they can call home. In February 2025, Clinch River Habitat for Humanity hosted a dedication ceremony for LeCreasia Hall and her son to celebrate their new beginning in a beautiful new home. ORAU was a corporate sponsor of the house, which is located in Oak Ridge. In the fall of 2024, many ORAU employees volunteered their time to help with the building work days, which included tasks such as building a shed, installing siding, and building a porch.
