RCL Model 10399 Peanut GM Tube (ca. 1960)

RCL Model 10399 Peanut GM Tube

This "peanut" GM tube was manufactured by Radiation Counter Laboratories, probably in the 1960s or late 1950s. Small GM tubes like this are relatively insensitive. As such, they are used for high range measurements. The electrical lead to the anode has broken off and is not visible.

Size: ca. 1.5" long and 5/16" in diameter
