While the museum is not open regularly for public visits, we are excited to offer unique opportunities to explore its fascinating exhibits. You can experience the museum through guided tours provided by the American Museum of Science and Energy (AMSE) or through engaging talks led by Manhattan Project National Historical Park Rangers. Join us for Beyond the Bomb: Stories of the Atomic Age

An event by the Manhattan Project National Historical Park, in partnership with Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU)

 

Join the MPNHP and ORAU for a free public program titled “Beyond the Bomb: Stories of the Atomic Age”. Utilizing the rich history and museum collection of the ORAU Museum of Radiation and Radioactivity, this program will dive into atomic culture and innovations in medicine sparked by the Manhattan Project and expanded during the atomic age. Participants will have the unique opportunity to explore the Museum of Radiation and Radioactivity.

Department of Energy's Public Facility Bus Tour

We are thrilled to announce a partnership with the American Museum of Science and Energy (AMSE) to provide tours of the Museum of Radiation and Radioactivity. Tours will be hosted Monday, Thursday & Friday, 1:30pm - 2:30pm. Please find more information at AMSE's ticketing website.
