Required

  • Physical copy of passport or birth certificate
  • Weeks’ worth of nice casual attire for research days
  • At least 2 business casual outfits, one for final presentations and one for first day of research at ORNL
  • Athletic wear for physical activities
  • At least 2 outfits for educational and cultural activities
  • Tennis shoes
  • Closed toed shoes for research days
  • Toiletries (Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrush, etc.)

Optional

  • Cell phone with WhatsApp downloaded
  • Rain gear, such as rain jacket (you will be provided with a poncho during the program)
  • Money for miscellaneous items or souvenirs, if desired
  • Snacks
  • Hat
  • Sunscreen/sunglasses
  • Insect repellant
  • Swimsuit
  • Pair of glasses if you wear contacts
  • Prescription medication if required (clearly labeled)
  • EpiPen if you are subject to life-threatening allergic reactions, and you know how to use it
