ORAU awarded three-year, $15M Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services INSPIRE technical assistance services contract

ORAU has been selected by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to continue to provide technical assistance services in support of the Initiative to Support Promising Research (INSPIRE) program. The contract was awarded on the General Services Administration Multiple Award Schedule vehicle.

Under the three-year, $15 million contract ORAU will provide technical assistance services to the CMS INSPIRE program, which assists in design and support of current research and development activities related to healthcare delivery and payment reform. INSPIRE facilitates private sector and academia to solve national healthcare issues and strengthen the workforce base in health innovation science and technology research. Project participants support the development of new healthcare delivery system reforms, accountable care organizations, bundled payments, value-based purchasing and other programs that incentivize better care coordination and reduced healthcare costs.

ORAU previously was awarded a three-year, $12 million contract to provide technical assistance services to CMS INSPIRE in 2020.
