ORAU wins Large Business of the Year at Chamber awards gala, and Archie Smart selected as Volunteer of the Year

During the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce’s fifth annual awards gala on January 15, ORAU won the Large Business of the Year award. This award recognizes large businesses with 200-plus employees that demonstrate overall stability and a positive public image while setting an example of community service and enhancing the economic vitality of the community.

ORAU’s Archie Smart was also selected as the Kerry Trammell Volunteer of the Year. His award recognizes an individual who personifies the finest spirit of volunteerism to the chamber by giving generously of themselves to improve the community's quality of life.
