Purpose of the procedure is to provide APS personnel and users with a step-by-step procedure that may be utilized at the APS beamlines or within a laboratory setting when managing the clean-up and disposal of broken beryllium windows. This policy defines the personnel allowed to initiate and perform the cleanup of a broken beryllium window and the logging requirements for the event.
