Resource Review: Asbestos Awareness (ESH 0339)

This online training was developed for Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) employees that routinely engage in activities that may contact but not disturb, asbestos containing materials. This includes:
  • Facility Division crafts employees, custodial staff, and maintenance staff
  • Construction managers and project managers
  • Personnel involved in research activities that involve the collection and/or use of asbestos.
This training does not quality a worker to perform work that involves disturbing asbestos materials. For LBNL workers that are involved in disturbing asbestos materials, such as asbestos abatement, require offsite OSHA training.
